This program is designed for children (ages 7-12 years) who are struggling in an area of development.

Siblings (ages 7-12) may also attend, however each child must be registered separately. If you have a child outside of the targeted age range that would like to attend , please contact Laurie Demchak.

Does your child have trouble with buttons or zippers? Is his or her writing difficult to decipher? Has a teacher noted deficits in your child’s cutting or drawing skills? Join Christine A Chambers, MEd, OTR/L, and Lindsey Tharp, MOTR/L, of Abilities First, LLC, as they use board games, crafts and other activities to teach families fun ways to build fine motor coordination and hand strength. They will also help families identify tools they may already have in their home such as board games, activities and toys that can be used to improve fine motor skills.
