Due to grant funding, this program is open to residents of Northeast Ohio. Ask Us is funded in part by The Community Foundation of Lorain County.

Our Family Resource Specialist Team

Our Family Resource Specialists (FRS) are parents who have worked through concerns with their children -- just like you. While their experiences may be a bit different from your own, they understand what it's like to look for resources and support.

Karla Fitch
FRS Team Lead

Karla provides supervision and support to the FRS team.

Her experience includes parenting a child with complex needs, navigating special education, working with state and county support systems and accessing treatments (including OT, PT, speech and mental health services).

Alicia Zuberny
Senior Family Resource Specialist

Alicia has experience with developmental disabilities and delays, working with medical professionals and accessing therapies, including PT, OT, speech and vision therapy. She also has experience with IEP/504 plans and navigating funding sources, including CMH, marketplace insurance plans and disability scholarships.

Anna Barr
Family Resource Specialist

Anna is a Caucasian woman with brown hair and glasses. She is smiling and looking toward her right slightly.

Anna has experience with LGBTQ+ identities, emotional and nervous system regulation, developmental delays, mental health diagnoses, twice-exceptional learners, 504 and WEP plans, and caregiver support.

Katie Krueger
Program Assistant

Katie has experience with parenting an anxious child, social difficulties, navigating gifted services, IEP meetings, supporting a highly sensitive child, infant reflux and dietary intolerances.
