Topic: How to Help Your Elementary Child Make Friends
Does your elementary school-aged child struggle to make friends on the playground? Does he or she watch groups of kids play and not know how to join in? Are you concerned because your child is not invited to birthday parties or play dates? Don’t despair as social skills can be taught! Come join this interactive discussion led by Tracy Biller, MA, CCC-SLP, and Ellen Spear, MA, CCC-SLP, of Lakeshore Speech Therapy, LLC, and learn techniques to teach social skills to your child. They will also address the types of professional help that is available for practicing social skills in private and group settings.
