CFK Summer Book Club

Join Connecting for Kids for some grown up summer reading that’s just for you. We’ll be discussing the young adult bestseller “Out of My Mind” by Sharon Draper, which tells the story of an 11-year-old girl with cerebral palsy who possesses a brilliant mind with a photographic memory. It is a story of empathy, inclusion and respect for those with disabilities.

There will be a limited supply of books available for checkout at Lakewood Public Library prior to the program. Whether you've read the book, watched the movie or just want to join the discussion, come for some adult summer reading conversation and connection with other caregivers on a similar journey.

This program is for adults only and is presented in partnership with Lakewood Public Library.
