Child Care Registration

Registration is closed

This registration is for child care ONLY during this CFK program. Adults must register for the program separately.

Child care is free and available on a first come, first served basis.

Important Notes:

Child care is held in the Dover Room of the Westlake Porter Public Library.
Registration is required.
Every child must have a registration. For example, if you are bringing two children you must register each child separately.
If child care registration is closed, please contact lauriedemchak@connectingforkids.org or call/text 440-864-2372 to be placed on the waiting list. We will contact you if there are cancellations.
Parents/caregivers are expected to do all toileting of children participating in child care.
Parents/caregivers may not leave the library without their child at any time.
Due to allergies, no outside food/beverages can be brought into the child care room.

Cancellation Policy:
As parents, we understand that things arise last minute and you may not be able to attend the program as planned. However, we do ask that you please email or call/text Laurie Demchak at lauriedemchak@connectingforkids.org or 440-864-2372 (including the day of the program) if you are unable to attend. This will allow a family on the waiting list to attend and enable us to properly plan for child care as we often rely on volunteers in the child care room to ensure an appropriate adult-to-child ratio.

Weather Policy

If the Westlake City School District is closed due to inclement weather, Teach Me to Play^SM, Music Therapy & More^SM, and child care for all programs will be cancelled. Parent Discussion Groups and Coffee and Chat for adults will occur unless you receive specific notice from Connecting for Kids. If the Westlake Porter Public Library is closed for any reason, all Connecting for Kids’ programs will be cancelled that day. Please call/text Laurie Demchak at 440-864-2372 with questions.
