Lakewood Park (Lakewood, OH)

Lakewood Park
14532 Lake Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107

Park Website: onelakewood.com
Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Restroom: Yes
Fenced: Most of the park is fenced; however, there are openings to access the parking lot and picnic pavilion.
Roadway/Water Nearby: The playground is on the lake (about 200 yards). There is no beach at Lakewood Park, but lake access is readily available with a handicap ramp or steps.
Adapted Equipment: Large selection of adapted equipment, including a wheelchair accessible play set and adapted swings.

Parent Comments: This park has loads of activities to engage kids of all ages and abilities. There are three play sets (one features a wheelchair accessible ramp and hand activities). In addition to the more traditional play sets, the park has an aerial playground with bridges. All play areas are well set apart, ensuring good visibility. Due to the popularity, this park can be crowded.
Photos were taken on July 26, 2018 at Lakewood Park in Lakewood. For more playgrounds in the area that have been recommended by Connecting for Kids families, please see our parks and playgrounds list.
